3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 packet active dry yeast
1 cup warm whole milk
1/3 cup red gel food coloring
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let foam.
2. Add red coloring, butter, eggs, then dry ingredients.
3. Knead dough for 8 minutes until smooth.
4. Rise until doubled in size (1 hour).
5. Roll into rectangle; spread butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
6. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
7. Rise again in pan for 45 minutes.
8. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
9. Frost with cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture.
