1.5 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Brown ground beef and onion; drain fat.
3. Stir in garlic, seasonings, soup, and sour cream.
4. Spread mixture into a greased 9×13 dish.
5. Top with 1 cup cheese and layer with tater tots.
6. Bake for 30 minutes until tots are golden.
7. Top with remaining cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Use lean beef to avoid grease.
