1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
2 cans cherry pie filling (21 oz each)
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Pour one can of cherry pie filling evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
3. Sprinkle half the chocolate cake mix over the cherry filling.
4. Drizzle half the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
5. Repeat layers with second can of cherry pie filling, remaining cake mix, and butter.
