Extra crispy air-fried chicken wings coated in a bold, smoky, and spicy dry rub. A perfect oil-free appetizer for any occasion.
2 lbs chicken wings (flats and drumettes)
1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1. Pat wings completely dry with paper towels.
2. Mix baking powder and all spices in a small bowl.
3. Toss wings in the spice rub until fully coated.
4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
5. Place wings in a single layer in the basket.
6. Air fry for 10 minutes.
7. Flip wings and cook for another 10–12 minutes.
8. Let rest for 2 minutes and serve.
Ensure wings are very dry for maximum crispiness.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Serve with ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce.
