Creamy, no-bake truffles that taste exactly like a classic orange creamsicle popsicle. Made with white chocolate and fresh orange zest.
1 cup high-quality white chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp fresh orange zest
1/2 tsp orange extract
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
1. Combine butter and orange zest in a saucepan over medium heat until melted.
2. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer; do not boil.
3. Pour hot cream through a strainer over white chocolate chips.
4. Let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth.
5. Add orange extract and salt; whisk to combine.
6. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
7. Scoop into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
8. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Use a microplane for the finest zest.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Freeze for up to 3 months without the sugar coating.
