These Crispy Baked Honey Lemon Pepper Wings are oven-roasted to golden perfection and tossed in a sticky, sweet, and tangy butter glaze. A perfect game day appetizer without the fryer!

2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes

1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)

1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

4 tbsp unsalted butter

1/3 cup honey

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and set a wire rack on a baking sheet.

2. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.

3. Mix baking powder and dry spices in a bowl.

4. Toss wings in the spice mixture until coated.

5. Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer.

6. Bake for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway through.

7. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

8. Whisk in honey, lemon juice, and zest; simmer 2 minutes.

9. Toss baked wings in the warm sauce.

10. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Ensure wings are dry before baking for maximum crispiness.

Use a wire rack to allow air circulation.
