Looking for a Halloween snack that’s equal parts creepy, sweet, and addictive? Bloody Red Velvet Popcorn transforms ordinary popcorn into a gory-looking, blood-red masterpiece coated in chocolate and velvet cake mix. Perfect for parties, trick-or-treat bags, or spooky movie nights.

Ingredients

– 8 cups popped popcorn (air-popped or stovetop)
– 1 package red velvet cake mix
– 1 cup white chocolate chips (or candy melts)
– 2 tbsp butter
– Red food coloring (optional for extra intensity)
– Halloween sprinkles or candy eyeballs (optional)

Instructions

1. Pop the popcorn and place it in a large bowl, removing unpopped kernels.
2. Melt white chocolate chips and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
3. Stir in red velvet cake mix and a few drops of red food coloring for a deep, bloody hue.
4. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and toss until evenly coated.
5. Spread coated popcorn on a parchment-lined tray.
6. Decorate with sprinkles or candy eyeballs before the coating sets.
7. Let the popcorn harden completely, break into clusters, and serve.

Notes
