These healthy No Bake Almond-Butter Twix Bars feature a crunchy almond flour crust, a chewy date-almond caramel, and a rich dark chocolate topping.

Ingredients

1.5 cups almond flour

3 tbsp coconut oil, melted

2 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 cup creamy almond butter

1/4 cup Medjool dates, pitted and mashed

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp sea salt

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tsp coconut oil (for chocolate layer)

Instructions

1.Mix almond flour, 3 tbsp coconut oil, and maple syrup; press into a lined loaf pan.

2.Whisk almond butter, mashed dates, vanilla, and salt until smooth; spread over base.

3.Freeze for 30 minutes.

4.Melt chocolate with 1 tsp coconut oil; pour over caramel layer.

5.Freeze until set, then slice into bars and serve cold.

Notes

Store in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Use room temperature almond butter for the best caramel consistency.

Substitute cashew butter for a different flavor profile.
