1 package (9 oz) oyster crackers
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pour oyster crackers onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
4. Boil for 1–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture turns lighter in color and is smooth.
5. Pour caramel mixture over crackers. Use a rubber spatula to gently mix, ensuring each cracker is coated.
6. Sprinkle salt over the top of the crackers.
7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until caramel is bubbly and golden.
8. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Break apart and enjoy.
