Golden, fluffy breadsticks shaped like bones, stuffed with gooey cheese and served with marinara sauce that doubles as ‘bloody dip’. Perfect spooky snack for Halloween parties or movie nights.

Ingredients

– 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade if preferred)
– 12 sticks of mozzarella string cheese
– 2 tbsp melted butter
– 2 tbsp grated parmesan
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Optional:
– Red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
– Fresh parsley for garnish
– Black sesame seeds for texture

Instructions

1. Preheat oven according to pizza dough package instructions.
2. Roll out dough and cut into strips about 6–7 inches long.
3. Place a piece of mozzarella string cheese in the center of each strip, fold dough over and pinch edges to seal.
4. Tie a loose knot at both ends to mimic bone shapes.
5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
6. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet until golden brown, about 12–15 minutes.
7. Serve warm with marinara sauce as “bloody dip”.

Notes

Seal the edges well so cheese doesn’t leak. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup. Prepare ahead and bake just before serving for freshness.
