2 cups chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs, beaten
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
3. Whisk sugars, eggs, and oil together.
4. Stir in vanilla and buttermilk.
5. Fold in flour and salt until just combined.
6. Gently fold in pecans.
7. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Substitute self-rising flour with 1.5 cups AP flour + 1.5 tsp baking powder + 0.5 tsp salt.
