– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 12 oz fettuccine pasta
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 4 tbsp butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice thinly.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.
6. Add sliced chicken on top and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or steamed broccoli. This recipe pairs perfectly with garlic bread and a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
