Ingredients

2 cups almond flour

1 tbsp ground turmeric

1 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp baking powder

2 large eggs

1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk

3 tbsp melted coconut oil

2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

1.Preheat waffle iron to medium-high.

2.Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl.

3.Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl.

4.Mix wet into dry until just combined.

5.Grease iron and pour 1/2 cup batter.

6.Cook 4–6 minutes until golden and crispy.

7.Serve immediately with fresh fruit.

Notes

Use flax eggs for a vegan version.

Store in freezer for up to 3 months.

Reheat in toaster for maximum crispiness.
