3/4 cup light cream
1/2 cup reduced-fat milk
1 packet (40g) French onion soup mix
1/2 cup grated cheddar or tasty cheese

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
2. Whisk together cream, milk, and soup mix in a jug.
3. Layer sliced potatoes in the dish and pour over the cream mixture.
4. Cover with foil and bake for 45–50 minutes until potatoes are tender.
5. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes.
