A cheesy, savory, and low-carb bake featuring tender steak, sautéed peppers, and melted provolone cheese.

Ingredients

1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 large bell peppers, sliced

1 large onion, sliced

8 oz mushrooms, sliced

8 oz cream cheese, softened

6 slices provolone cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.

2. Sauté onions, peppers, and mushrooms in olive oil until tender.

3. Sear sliced beef with garlic and Worcestershire sauce until browned.

4. Stir cream cheese into the beef until melted and creamy.

5. Spread beef in dish, layer with vegetables, and top with provolone.

6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Freeze steak for 45 mins for easier thin slicing.

Swap provolone for mozzarella if preferred.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
