All the flavor of classic rolls in a quick, healthy beef and cabbage bowl.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1 medium green cabbage, chopped

1 yellow onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

28 oz diced tomatoes

8 oz tomato sauce

4 cups beef broth

1 cup white rice

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Spices: thyme, paprika, salt, pepper

Instructions

1. Brown beef and onion in a large pot.

2. Add garlic and cabbage, cook for 3 minutes.

3. Pour in broth, tomatoes, and all seasonings.

4. Stir in rice and bring to a boil.

5. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes on low heat.

6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Stores 4 days in fridge. Keto version possible without rice.
