A savory and comforting 30-minute meal featuring tender bowtie pasta, lean ground beef, and a rich, aromatic garlic butter sauce.

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb lean ground beef

4 tbsp unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water for 2 minutes less than package directions; drain.

2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until cooked through.

3. Drain excess grease and add butter to the skillet until melted.

4. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning; sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant.

5. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.

6. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and half of the Parmesan until smooth.

7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.

8. Serve immediately topped with remaining Parmesan and fresh parsley.

Notes

Use reserved pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.

Substitute ground beef with steak strips for a more luxurious version.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
