2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp butter extract (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Glaze:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets.
2. Cream butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in eggs, vanilla, and butter extract.
4. Whisk dry ingredients; fold into wet mixture to form dough.
