– 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
– 1 cup flour
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup butter, softened
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup white sugar
– 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla
(Optional: 1/2 cup nuts, white chocolate, or dried fruit)
1. Heat oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Mix oats, flour, soda, cinnamon, salt.
3. Cream butter and sugars.
4. Add egg, maple syrup, vanilla.
5. Combine wet and dry.
6. Add extras if using.
7. Scoop onto tray, bake 10–12 min.
8. Cool on rack.
Use real maple syrup for best flavor. Store airtight up to 5 days.
