A hearty and comforting Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole that combines juicy seasoned ground beef, a creamy cheese sauce, and a crispy topping of golden frozen French fries. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 cup onion, diced
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 bag (28-32 oz) frozen French fries
Salt and pepper to taste
Pickles and tomatoes for garnish (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Brown beef and onions in a skillet; drain fat.
3. Stir in soups, milk, condiments, spices, and 1 cup cheese.
4. Spread mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
5. Arrange frozen fries in a single layer on top.
6. Bake 40-45 minutes until fries are golden.
7. Top with remaining cheese and bake 2-3 mins.
8. Let rest 5 mins before serving.
Do not thaw fries before baking.
Use sharp cheddar for best flavor.
