Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in a viral zesty garlic-herb cowboy butter sauce.
2 lbs Ribeye or Sirloin steak, cubed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp fresh chives, sliced
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1. Pat steak dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, lemon, mustard, paprika, flakes, and herbs.
3. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
4. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes until browned.
5. Add half the cowboy butter to the pan.
6. Toss steak to coat in melting butter for 1 minute.
7. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
8. Serve with remaining butter for dipping.
Use grass-fed butter for best flavor.
Store extra butter in the fridge for up to 1 week.
